Privacy Policy – Españoles Por Europa

This Privacy Policy describes how personal data is collected, used, and protected when using the Españoles Por Europa (“EPE” or “the App”) mobile application, developed by Veldin Network (“we”, “us”, or “the Owner”).

Registration data: email, encrypted password, app language.
Profile data: name/alias, country and city of residence, country of origin, profile photo (optional), short description.
Usage data: messages, connection requests, blocks, notification settings.
Approximate location: country and city selected by the user (never GPS coordinates).
Technical identifiers: device ID, OS, app version, push token.
Support data: content included when contacting support or submitting reports.

3. Purpose of processing

Provide the service (profile, map, messages, requests).
Ensure safety and moderation.
Send push notifications.
Improve the App through anonymous statistics.
Provide support.
Comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
Legitimate interest (security, improvement).

5. Map and location

      The App shows clusters by country and city only.  
      It never shares exact GPS location or real-time movement.
    

6. Data recipients

Cloud services (e.g., Firebase).
Push notification services (e.g., Expo).
Analytics tools.

7. International transfers

We ensure GDPR-compliant safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, etc.).

8. Data retention

Data is kept while the account is active. Deleted accounts result in erased or anonymized data, except for legally required retention.

11. Minors

We may update this Policy as necessary. Continued use implies acceptance of changes.
